The Warriors of Zimbabwe will be playing their 2026 World Cup Qualifier match against Bafana Bafana in Botswana.
The match will be played at Obed Itani Chilume Stadium in Francistown, Botswana on 10 October 2025.
Zimbabwe men’s national football team was prematurely eliminated from the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers with three matches still to play, after losing to Benin and Rwanda respectively.
South Africa now lead the standings with 17 points and are in pole position to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals.
Benin sit second on 14 points, with Nigeria and Rwanda tied on 11, Lesotho on 6, and Zimbabwe bottom with 4.
With only two wins from 27 qualifiers since 2010, Zimbabwe’s track record on football’s biggest stage continues to reflect a bleak story of missed chances.
Warriors will face South Africa, Lesotho and Nigeria, however these matches are now for pride or will serve as preparation for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
