The Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) Electoral Committee says the meticulous vetting and verification of all nomination papers for the forthcoming ZIFA elections has been successfully concluded.
In a press statement, the football mother body said the Committee undertook this process with utmost diligence, guided by the ZIFA Electoral Code and FIFA’s Standard Electoral Regulations.
The Association said all steps were taken ensuring that every nomination was examined thoroughly, fairly, and transparently.
Candidates whose submissions contain irregularities or matters requiring clarification will receive individual written notifications on the 31st of October 2025.
Each such candidate will be granted seven (7) days to address and resolve the specified issues in line with the electoral guidelines.
Following the expiry of this period, the Committee will proceed to the next phase of the electoral roadmap.
The Electoral Committee commends all stakeholders for their patience and cooperation during this critical process and reaffirms its commitment to ensuring a credible, transparent, and integrity-driven electoral exercise for the good of Zimbabwean football.
