The national football side, Warriors captain of the day, Gerald Takwara says they lost to one of the best teams on the continent.
Offering his reflections on the match and the team’s overall performance, Takwara said they played well despite ending up the losing side.
He said the team came back composed especially in second half creating opportunities and were rewarded with a goal.
He said the match also helped them notice areas that need improvement going forward.
Zimbabwe will play Qatar on Monday as they round out the friendlies in preparation for the Africa Cup of Nations to be hosted by Morocco.
