The Zimbabwe Warriors will wrap up their November international window with a friendly against Qatar on 17 November at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium in Doha, with kick-off at 6:30 pm CAT.
The clash comes just four days after Zimbabwe face Algeria in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, as part of the team’s two-match tour designed to fine-tune preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco this December.
Qatar, ranked 52nd in the world, are expected to provide a stern challenge for Zimbabwe, who sit 129th in the latest FIFA rankings.
A contingent of locally based players has already departed for Saudi Arabia to join the rest of the squad under newly appointed head coach Marian Marinica, who is leading his first assignment since taking charge.
ZIFA confirmed an updated 24-man squad, blending European-based regulars with domestic talent, as the Warriors seek to build tactical cohesion and assess player depth before the continental finals.
Notable absentees include Marshall Munetsi (club request), Knowledge Musona (hamstring), Tymon Machope (calf), and Khama Billiat (personal reasons).
Both matches — against Algeria on 13 November and Qatar on 17 November — will provide crucial preparation and international exposure ahead of the Warriors’ AFCON return.
