Former Orlando Pirates midfielder and current Zimbabwe Warriors vice captain Marshal Munetsi has welcomed a new baby.
When the news that he welcomed a new member to his family broke the internet congratulatory messages poured as fans wish him and his family the best.
Meanwhile, apart from being towering figure in the football field Munetsi has taken it upon himself to help the less privileged.
Munetsi’s foundation has been paying school fees of 30 children at Zimbabwe’s Mabvuku Primary and has done the same for 30 more at Donnybrook Primary.
For Munetsi, who grew up in the Mabvuku area and attended Donnybrook Primary, this gesture is deeply personal.
He has often spoken about a childhood spent in tough conditions and his concern over drug use in Mabvuku.
