Warriors striker Tino Kadewere has given a touching update on his injury status via his social media platform, Facebook.
He posted:
“A few weeks back i had surgery on my knee and honestly been the toughest moments ever , i just want to thank everyone for the messages i got and all the love you showed and also special thanks to my wife, my boys and also everyone from the team @arisfc_official gave me the strength that i needed and being there with all the time.
I have been struggling a lot with these injuries and sometimes you like ask yourself so many questions with no answers but i believe everything happens for a reason and i will never give up.
Will keep the fight and make sure one day all this will just be history. Happy with the progress already and soon will be back.”
Kadewere is set to miss the Warriors’ upcoming friendlies against Algeria 🇩🇿 and Qatar 🇶🇦 on 13 and 17 November in Saudi Arabia.
His recovery timeline remains uncertain, and depending on how fast he progresses, he is likely to miss the AFCON Finals set for December in Morocco.
