PICTURES: Warriors conduct first training in Saudi Arabia

Under the leadership of Coach Mario Marinica and Assistant Coach Kaitano Tembo, the Warriors today trained at the King Abdul Aziz Sporting Arena, setting the tone for their clash against Algeria on 13 November 2025 at the Prince Abdul Aziz Stadium.

The team conducted its first training session this afternoon at 1600hrs (KSA time) as preparations intensify for the upcoming clash.

The Warriors arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia early in the afternoon, took a brief rest before resuming the training.

The squad featured a mix of local-based and South African-based players, with Jonah Fabisch already in camp.

The European-based contingent is expected to complete arrivals today.

Head Coach Marian Mario Marinica: “This friendly is an important test in our journey towards AFCON 2025.”

The full squad will be in camp by tomorrow and the belief is strong.

In training this afternoon the technical bench assessed, team morale, tactical discipline.
