Zimbabwe Warriors forward Macauley Bonne has officially parted ways with English non-league side Maldon & Tiptree following his return from the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Bonne linked up with the eighth-tier outfit in October after leaving Southend United at the conclusion of last season. During his short spell with The Jammers, the 30-year-old striker found the net three times in nine appearances, contributing to a strong league campaign that sees the club sitting two points clear at the summit of the Isthmian League North Division.
The club confirmed Bonne’s exit in an official statement, announcing that both the Zimbabwe international and Courtney Senior had departed the Drewitt-Barlow Stadium, while extending their best wishes for the future.
Bonne recently represented Zimbabwe national football team at AFCON in Morocco, featuring in all three group-stage matches. He was also handed a starting role in the Warriors’ clash against Angola national football team, underlining his continued importance at international level despite his club transition.
