Former Warriors defender Kaitano Tembo has reportedly rejected an offer to become the assistant coach of newly promoted Betway Premiership side Durban City.
According to FarPost.com, Tembo has decided to remain at Sekhukhune United, where he coaches the development side.
The Zimbabwean coach was initially expected to join Durban City following his demotion from Sekhukhune’s senior team to the reserves.
City had approached him to become Gavin Hunt’s assistant ahead of their debut season in the South African top flight and even held talks with him.
However, Tembo has opted to stay with Sekhukhune United for the upcoming season.
