FIFA Confirms Warriors’ Final World Cup Qualifier Venue

FIFA has officially released the details for Zimbabwe’s last outing in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, a Group C clash against Lesotho.

The fixture will be staged in South Africa, with Lesotho continuing to play their “home” games away from home due to the absence of a CAF-approved stadium. The showdown is set for Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on 13 October, kicking off at 6 PM CAT—just three days after Zimbabwe lock horns with Bafana Bafana in Durban.

For both nations, the match carries little more than pride. The Warriors sit rooted to the bottom of the table on four points, still searching for their first win of the campaign, while Lesotho are fifth with nine points and also out of the qualification race.
