The Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) has announced a new sponsorship deal for the Warriors ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), confirming pan-African banking group Ecobank as the senior national team’s official banking partner.
ZIFA revealed the partnership via its official social media platforms, although the association did not disclose the financial details or duration of the agreement. The deal comes at a crucial time as Zimbabwe prepares for its AFCON campaign in Morocco.
In its announcement, ZIFA hailed the partnership as a boost for the national team, rallying supporters behind the Warriors as they prepare to represent the country on the continental stage.
“Our Warriors. Our Pride. On December 22, our flag flies in Morocco as the Warriors take their place on Africa’s biggest football stage at AFCON 2025,” the association posted.
“They carry more than a badge. They carry the hopes, voices and pride of a nation that believes. From every street, township and village, we stand as one behind our Warriors.”
The Warriors are set to begin their AFCON journey on December 22, with the Ecobank partnership adding momentum to preparations both on and off the pitch as national pride builds ahead of the tournament.
