Coaches committee established to scout players to be drafted into Warriors team

The Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League (PSL) has appointed top local coaches – Joel ‘Dubai’ Luphahla, Tonderai ‘Stanza’ Ndiraya, and Joey ‘Mafero’ ‘ Antipas (pictured) into a committee tasked with identifying players for the Warriors.

The three will work hand in hand with head coach Mario Marinica and assistant Kaitano Tembo as Zimbabwe ramps up preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Apparently, the country has never been in short of raw talent in terms of football players, however the scouting side has been a major setback.

Some of the talent went to waste or under the drain after it was not identified in good time.

With a committee now in place hopes are they travel across the country in search of talent.

Meanwhile, the Zimbabwe Football Association has commended PSL for the establishment of the Committee to support the Zimbabwe Men’s National Football Team in the identification and development of local talent.
