The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has charged Ngezi Platinum Stars coach Takesure Chiragwi for violent and improper conduct after he slapped his player McDonald Makuwe during a league match against Dynamos at Rufaro Stadium on October 4, 2025.
The altercation occurred shortly after Dynamos equalised through an own goal by Brooklyn Katumba, sparking a heated exchange on the touchline.
According to a PSL statement, both Chiragwi and Ngezi Platinum face charges of violent and disorderly behaviour, improper conduct, and actions bringing the game into disrepute. The club has also been cited for disrupting match proceedings due to the conduct of its technical team and players.
The disciplinary hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, 28 October 2025, at 17:30, at the PSL offices.
