The Zimbabwe Warriors have kicked off preparations in Durban ahead of Friday’s crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier against South Africa at Moses Mabhida Stadium.
All locally-based players are already in camp, joined by the South Africa–based contingent, as training got underway with high energy, unity, and purpose.
According to ZIFA, several of the Europe-based stars have begun jetting in, and by Tuesday morning, the full squad will be complete — ready to don the green and gold for national pride.
Though the Warriors are no longer in contention for World Cup qualification, the upcoming clashes against Bafana Bafana and Lesotho (on October 13 in Polokwane) will be vital in sharpening the team ahead of the 2025 AFCON campaign.
The spirit is high, the camp is buzzing, and the mission is clear — finish strong, build momentum, and reignite belief.
