Dynamos, Highlanders Survive PSL Relegation, Walter Magaya’s Yadah Relegated

The 2025 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season concluded dramatically on Sunday, with both Dynamos and Highlanders securing survival on the final day as the relegation picture was finally settled.

The two traditional giants went into Matchday 34 under serious threat but managed to avoid defeat to confirm their top-flight status for another season.

At Mandava Stadium, Dynamos ground out a tense 0-0 draw against FC Platinum, a result that lifted the Glamour Boys to 13th place on 39 points, just enough to escape the drop after favourable outcomes elsewhere.

Meanwhile, at Barbourfields Stadium, Highlanders fought back from behind to draw 1-1 with Chicken Inn. Brian Muza opened the scoring for the Gamecocks before Andrew Mbeba equalised with a superb free-kick to earn Bosso the point they needed to survive, finishing 11th, one place above Chicken Inn.

At the other end, Yadah, Greenfuel, Bikita Minerals, and Kwekwe United were all relegated from the top flight.

  • Yadah fell 1-0 to Simba Bhora.

  • Greenfuel were held 1-1 by Triangle United, who climbed above them to safety.

  • Bikita Minerals lost 1-0 to Manica Diamonds.

  • Kwekwe United, already relegated, ended their season with a 2-0 loss to CAPS United.
