Several clubs across Europe are reportedly circling Liverpool youngster Trey Nyoni ahead of the January transfer window.
The 17-year-old has found game time hard to come by since being promoted to the Reds’ first team at the start of the season, and interest in a loan move is growing.
According to The Athletic, Liverpool are open to listening to loan proposals, but will only approve a move if they believe the environment will genuinely support Nyoni’s development. Each option will be assessed individually, with the club keen to avoid a situation where he leaves only to sit on another bench.
A final decision is expected to come late in the window, as it will depend largely on the fitness and form of Liverpool’s senior midfielders. If injuries pile up or options become limited, Nyoni may be kept at Anfield rather than sent out for experience.
