MWOS coach Lloyd Mutasa challenges youngesters to ‘shine’ in absence of first choice players

MWOS head coach Lloyd Mutasa has challenged youngesters to step up and show quality in the absence of regular players due to a number of factors including suspensions or injuries.

Speaking during a press conference, Mutasa said:

“With the absence of Tinotenda Mutyambizi due to suspension and Abubakar Moffat remaining a doubt, its time for our youngsters to step up and show their quality.”

He pointed out that some young players have been impressive.

“Tyrone Matongorere has consistently been impressive whenever he’s played, and both Prosper Mawoyo and Noah Simango have been training exceptionally well; they are both rightly in tomorrow’s squad,” he said.

He added that the idea is to give them exposure.

“Our plan is clear: to get these young lads onto the pitch and let them prove they can fill the shoes of the senior players. This is their moment to shine.”
