The Premier Soccer League had resolved to pause relegation this season in a vote and instead have a 22 team league as they sought to adjust the league to have 20 teams by 2027, but the Zimbabwe Football Association has opposed the idea.
According to -ZIFA- short for Zimbabwe Football Association, relegation still needs to happen this season and is a fundamental that can not be bypassed.
Therefore FOUR clubs will still be RELEGATED this season.
ZIFA has since communicated to the PSL to come up with another proposal.
