The Chibuku Stadium in Chitungwiza came alive with youthful energy and football prowess on Saturday as the Chitungwiza Junior Football Development Under-14 Festival brought together rising talent, technical experts, and community stakeholders in a vibrant celebration of grassroots football.
Hosted by the Chitungwiza Junior Football Development League (CJFDL) in partnership with the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA), the showcase provided an inspiring stage to nurture and exhibit young players under the age of 14.

According to ZIFA the event reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the foundation of Zimbabwean football through structured junior development.
The Chibuku Stadium was bursting with energy as 17 academies from the Chitungwiza Junior Football Development League gathered for a thrilling Under-14 Festival, celebrating the spirit of youth football.
ZIFA Technical Director Dominic Niyonzima, said the festival provided skill sessions and mentorship, all aimed at nurturing the next generation of footballers.
ZIFA also donated 50 footballs to support ongoing junior programs in Chitungwiza.
The event, was supported by the Ministry of Sport, LM Auctioneers, Utano, Sir Charles Fitness, and Replete Care, was a resounding success, a true celebration of community and the future of Zimbabwean football.
