Magesi FC coach John Maduka has eased concerns over goalkeeper Elvis Chipezeze’s injury, sustained during their Betway Premiership clash with TS Galaxy. The Zimbabwean international limped off, prompting fears of a lengthy absence, but Maduka confirmed the injury is not serious and expects him to be fit for their Carling Knockout Cup quarter-final against Orlando Pirates. Magesi reached the last eight after a 3–2 win over AmaZulu, while Pirates advanced with a 1–0 victory over Siwelele FC.
