Former Zimbabwean international Esrom Nyandoro started playing football at a very young age.
His biggest break through came when he was spotted while playing in the Peter Ndlovu under 19 invitational tournament.
Later, he went on to become the Warriors engine room controling operations in the middle of the park with his ball winning distribution precision.
He also played for Zimbabwe Saints Juniors before joining the now defunct Amazulu Football Club while he was just seventeen years old and by the time he turned twenty he was already a regular starter.
He got his first national cap at age twenty one against Burkina Faso and he played so well that he was named man of the match. Nyandoro was also part of the history making warriors team that qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations in 2004.

Nyandoro’s goal against Cameroon at the tournament was voted the goal of the tournament. Esrom Nyandoro was signed by Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club of South Africa in 2004 where he was named rookie of the year in his debut season.
In 2006 he was linked with a move to Sheffield United, a move which had been put in motion by Peter Ndlovu but no deal materialised.
He went back to Sundowns where he had a very glittering career in which he also captained the team.
