The Warriors of Zimbabwe have suffered a defeat to Benin in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers Group C game by a goal to nil this evening.
Technically they are now out of the tournament after the fall at Alassane Ouattara Stadium, in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.
The Warriors lost it all 16 minutes into the second half after allowing Benin danger man Steve Mounie a free header.
The first half was evenly balanced with both teams equal share of the few chances that came their way.
However Benin piled more pressure most of the second half and it finally paid off in the 76th minute.
